AFET CCEQ - Concealed Carry Endorsement Qualification Courses

This course will help prepare you to legally carry a concealed firearm in public. This is a very enjoyable and informative class. This class exceeds the Missouri requirements for a concealed carry endorsement qualification. It is recommended training if you plan on carrying a handgun. Another good course to take for inexperienced shooters is the NRA Basic Pistol and Home Firearm Safety, which are offered.

The Concealed Carry Endorsement Qualification course exceeds the mandatory training requirement standards set forth by Missouri statute. Special emphasis on firearms safety in and outside of the home, instruction and basic principles of marksmanship, care and cleaning, legal requirements of the state for certification, laws relating to concealed carry and justifiable use of force are included in this course, as well as concealed carry and the defensive mindset, carry modes and handgun concealment, presenting the handgun from concealment and defensive pistol shooting skills.

At a minimum, the certifications required to lead the instruction for the Missouri Concealed Carry Endorsement Qualification, and in most cases with sufficient certifications to help certify new instructors for those same state programs.
All lead instructors have at least five years experience conducting the courses being taught.
Legal presentations will be made by an attorney familiar with firearms laws in Missouri.

No prerequisite to attending the Missouri CCEQ class.
One day, ten hour class which will meet all the requirements in order to obtain a Missouri Concealed Carry Endorsement. Standard class times are from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., but times may vary.
The course will include classroom instruction and exercises as well as live firing on a shooting range.
Course dates are set by instructors on an “on demand” basis. If you would like to schedule a date, please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
Students will fire a minimum of 50 rounds from a revolver and semi-automatic pistol.
Qualification requires 15 of 20 shots to be within target area.
Firearms are available if student does not have access to a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol.

A total of eight (8) hours intense instruction is divided between an interactive lecture format followed by live fire range training. Upon successful completion of training, each individual will be issued a Certificate of Firearms Safety Training, required by the State of Missouri in the application for concealed carry endorsement. Course participants provide their own firearm for the range portion of instruction. You will need to bring 100 rounds of ammunition. If you do not own a firearm, or wish to shoot ours, we can provide firearms and ammunition. All firearms must be carried in closed case, unloaded, and readily available for inspection. All firearms will be inspected prior to admittance to range. Ammunition must be carried in a separate container from the firearm. Additionally, eye and ear protection is required safety range equipment, as well as range clothing suitable for current weather conditions. Course lecture will take place in the classroom. The course participants will then travel on their own to a local range for live fire exercises.
